When is it beneficial for women to drink wine?
Researchers at the University of Harvard believe that women over the age of forty should drink natural wine when eating foods such as pizzas or pastas. According to experts, this can protect the fair sex from the development of type 2 diabetes.
For twenty-five years, experts have watched eight ten thousand women. It was noticed that adherents of a completely sober lifestyle, whose diet included potatoes, pasta and bakery products, were thirty percent more likely to have diabetes. Those who regularly consumed such products with wine were less likely to suffer from this disease.
Scientists note that if the diet contains a large number of so-called processed carbohydrates, which are just rich in these products, then the risk of developing diabetes increases. Nevertheless, the regular use of small doses of natural wine can reduce the risk of developing this disease.
Most often, according to statistics, diabetes mellitus occurs in those people whose food menu includes red meat, juices, cereal, potatoes and bakery products. Moderate drinking involves no more than two servings of alcohol per week.
In turn, diabetes can lead to the development of extremely serious health problems.
